Executive Board
Esteemed delegates, distinguished guests, and fellow enthusiasts of international law,
Welcome to the UNGA 6th Committee!
Before we delve into the intricate world of legal treaties and global agendas, allow me to introduce myself as your humble Chair for this conference. My name is Devesh Mishra, and I stand before you not just as a facilitator, but as a fellow student and passionate advocate for a more just and equitable world.
Law isn’t merely about words on paper; it’s about their impact on people’s lives. This understanding fuelled my pursuit of legal studies. Now, I stand on the cusp of an exciting journey at HNLU, Raipur, eager to translate my academic achievements into meaningful action. I also currently serve as the Director for research and editorials at Global Policy Pen, a GOI registered research firm.
As your Chair, I bring not just my credentials, but also a genuine enthusiasm for international law and the opportunities it presents. This committee, the UNGA 6th Committee, offers us a unique platform to delve into the most pressing legal issues facing our world – from the protection of refugees to the promotion of sustainable development.
Remember, we are not simply debating abstract concepts; we are embodying the voices of nations, wielding the power of diplomacy and collaboration to forge solutions that impact real lives. Today, let’s make a difference.
Regards
Devesh Mishra
