VIBGYOR MUN has been considered among the most popular and prestigious student conferences consistently from the time of its commencement in 2011. Delegates attending this much awaited MUN focus on reflection, collaboration, and mediation to provide solutions to problems that besiege our world. With each passing year, the VIBGYORMUN has evolved and widened its scope, carving its own niche, and creating its own identity at par with the best MUNs in our nation.

According to Albert Einstein, ‘We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.’ In this respect, it is my opinion that the most original and inventive solutions to the world’s problems can be gleaned from students, the young adults, who, with the right guidance and support, can fearlessly tackle pressing issues. They utilise their critical thinking, logical reasoning, risk taking, problem solving and communicative skills, to the hilt. They have fresh and incisive perspectives to share.

The VIBGYOR MUN 14 will be held from 26 to 29 June 2024 in Bengaluru, the IT capital of India, a fitting place in which to discuss the horde of issues that 21st century cities are struggling to cope with and overcome. With the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11 ‘Sustainable cities and communities’ as the theme, delegates will be able to use this opportunity to delve deeply into the urban malaises and their solutions.
