Dear Delegates
"Без риска нет прибыли." – Without risk, there is no reward.
I, Algin Thomas, have participated in over 80 Model United Nations (MUN) conferences. I am widely recognised as the founder of the old MUNs Delegation, established four years ago. I am deeply committed to inspiring young minds toward public policy, and my approach challenges participants to think critically and develop solutions with real-world applicability.
Since the age of 16, I have collaborated with global brands, gradually cultivating a strong passion for design and technology. I firmly believe in human-centric design, where innovation emerges from the stroke of a brush or the lines drawn on an iPad, ultimately shaping products that are both accessible and impactful for the masses. With a strong focus on sustainability, I have pioneered solutions aimed at reducing or eliminating paper-based processes in organisations through digitisation (because, surprisingly, we still rely on them).

Dear Delegates
It's my pleasure to welcome you to VIBGYOR MUN 15 as the Chair for SPECPOL.
In seventh grade, I walked into my first-ever MUN committee, United Nations Security Council. My Chair at the time gave me advice that has shaped my journey ever since:
“You have no one to prove wrong and no one to prove right. Taking home even one better line and a wider perspective than you came in with is in itself a success.”
That day, I won my first-ever MUN conference as a UNSC delegate and as what could have been an ‘unimportant’ country. From that moment, there was no looking back. Having now been involved in over 70 MUNs, I have come to understand the balance between debate and diplomacy.
This year’s SDG goal would be one that’s very close to my heart. My work in material sustainability, recognised by Mid-Day Journal and awarded a patent by the Government of India, has only reinforced my belief that diplomacy must be rooted in action. In the face of climate change, decolonisation extends beyond borders—it is about environmental sovereignty, sustainable governance, and the redistribution of power in a world where resources have long been controlled by a few.
This year, SPECPOL will challenge you to dissect decolonisation not as a historical event, but as an ongoing struggle against entrenched systems of power. We will navigate the complexities of peacekeeping, settlement activities, and sovereignty, while also engaging with contemporary issues such as outer space governance and refugee crises.
My hope is that you leave this committee not just as better debaters, but as thinkers who seek answers—capable of challenging the narratives you once accepted and finding nuance where others see only binaries.
Regards
Disha Nischal

Dear Delegates
I am Gaurav Dadu, currently studying in grade 9 at VIBGYOR High Haralur. I have been a part of two VIBGYOR MUNs and have had an absolutely stellar time. I won Best Delegate twice—once as Syria in the UN Security Council and also as Israel in the International Atomic Energy Agency. From participating in the intense Midnight Crisis Committee for two years to defending my foreign policy during Press Conferences, I have done everything VIBGYOR MUN offers to a delegate. I wish to pass on my expertise to future delegates and also be part of the hardworking team that ensures this conference runs smoothly.
As a member of the Executive Board, I would ensure that delegates not only bring home extensive knowledge about international law and affairs, but are also motivated to pursue MUNs further. From the committee, delegates can expect quality debates, detailed legal discussions, thought-provoking sessions, and everything that ensures a memorable experience.

Dear Delegates
Greetings! My name is Siddhant More, and it gives me immense pleasure to address you as the Chair of CCPCJ at VIBGYOR MUN 15.
I have been part of the MUN circuit since 2018 and have chaired conferences both nationally and internationally. VIBGYOR MUN 8 was where I started as a delegate, and it is truly fulfilling to see that I have now come full circle, concluding this eight-year journey at the very conference where it all began.
I can gladly say I’ve held every possible position at VIBGYOR MUN—I have been a delegate, a Chair for both conventional and Indian committees, as well as a member of the Secretariat, serving as Director General at VIBGYOR MUN 12. If there’s one word that defines this conference, it is prestige.
Beyond MUNs, I hold a deep passion for changemaking and fostering youth leadership, which is why I run a platform called The Tarunodaya Foundation, dedicated to creating on-ground impact and promoting active citizenship.
At VIBGYOR MUN, you will face situations that challenge you to think and act spontaneously, debate with integrity, and fight for what you believe is right. Take initiative in committees, seize every opportunity, and make the most of it. Remember, the only way to outshine is to outwork.
I hope this conference pushes you to perform beyond your expectations, give your best, strengthen your fundamentals, overcome your weaknesses, and, most importantly, enhance your strengths. Compete with a true competitive spirit!
I look forward to seeing you all at the conference.

Dear Delegates
I am Ishaan Gangwani, Co-Chair for CCPCJ at VIBGYOR MUN 15. I believe that logic and reasoning is the foundation of diplomacy. Every argument must be built on a strong claim, supported by evidence, and justified by a clear warrant. Foreign policy is more than just rhetoric; it is about making rational, defensible decisions that stand up to scrutiny.
The Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice committee challenges us to view global issues through a judicial lens. To do justice to it, I encourage all of you to come well-prepared. Understand your country’s stance, foreign policy, and past actions. However, keep in mind that effective diplomacy is more than defending your country’s stance; it requires understanding opposing perspectives and finding common ground. The best delegates don’t just speak—they listen, respond thoughtfully, and persuade with logic.
I look forward to meeting you all and witnessing the impactful discussions you will lead. Let’s challenge ourselves, think critically, and make this conference an unforgettable experience. See you all soon!
Regards

Dear Delegates
My name is Vanshaj Chawla, and I am privileged to serve as the Vice Chairperson for CCPCJ at VIBGYOR MUN 15. As we prepare for what promises to be an engaging and insightful conference, I want to take a moment to share my excitement for the discussions ahead and the important role each of you will play in shaping them.
The Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) is a vital part of the UN system, dedicated to addressing issues related to crime prevention, criminal justice, and the protection of human rights. As delegates, you will have the opportunity to tackle some of the most pressing and complex challenges facing our global community today. Whether we are discussing the fight against human trafficking, addressing corruption, or advocating justice for victims, your insights, dedication, and creativity will be essential in guiding the debates and crafting resolutions that can lead to meaningful change.
In my role as Vice Chair, I am here to support the Chair and Co-Chair in ensuring that our committee runs smoothly and that our discussions remain productive, focused, and respectful. I am committed to creating an environment where each of you can share your ideas freely, collaborate effectively, and develop diplomatic strategies that reflect both your national interests and the common good. The success of our committee will depend not only on the depth of our discussions but also on our ability to work together, listen carefully, and find common ground.
I encourage all of you to come to the conference well-prepared—whether that means researching your country’s position on the agenda or honing your negotiation and diplomacy skills. Your ability to engage with others, think critically, and approach challenges with an open mind will be crucial as we progress in our discussions. Model United Nations is not just about representing a country; it is about exploring new perspectives and ideas.
I’m excited to meet everyone at the conference and see the incredible discussions you’ll initiate. Let’s make this an unforgettable and impactful experience.

Dear Delegates
"Life is not what you expect, it is made up of the most unexpected twists and turns."
Hello Delegates, I'm Raghavendra, a graduate from Christ University, and my journey into the world of Model United Nations began in my first year. Similar to many new beginnings, I encountered initial challenges in navigating the intricacies of MUNs but demonstrated resilience and commitment to his growth.
It is my dedication that led me to become a pivotal figure within The Debating Society, rising from the struggle of early placements to becoming the President of the Debating Society (DEBSOC) and becoming the Secretary General of CUBSMUN at Christ (Deemed-to-be) University, Bannerghatta Road Campus.
I have also served as an Executive Board (EB) member in conferences like FMUN 2024, IRMUN 2024, JIGYASA'24, PeCon'24, DOCMUN'24, FMUN'25, and CMSMUN'25.

Dear Delegates,
My name is Tanvi, and I am currently a rising sophomore at Stony Brook University, New York. I am a double major in Economics and Applied Math and Statistics. I've always been fascinated by how economics shapes the world around us — from the choices individuals make to the policies that guide entire nations. It helps me understand systems, people, and the ripple effects better.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to explore these passions through Model UN, where I’ve taken on various roles, from a delegate to a Secretary General. One of my most fulfilling experiences was founding the Evolve Model UN, a student-led conference aimed at helping young people engage with global issues in an accessible and thoughtful way.
On campus, I try to stay involved in various ways, whether that’s through serving as a teaching assistant for ECON classes, event coordinator, research under Professor Janzen, or skill-based tutor. Each role has helped me connect with people, learn from diverse perspectives, and contribute to the community I’m a part of.
I'm also a published researcher in the field of social sciences. Ever since high school, I noticed a gap in awareness about the humanities, arts, and social sciences among high school students in Mumbai — something I personally found both surprising and important. Through the research process, I wanted to explore why these fields are often overlooked and highlight their value in shaping well-rounded, thoughtful individuals.
Above all, I’m someone who's constantly curious, values collaboration, and believes in the power of thoughtful communication — whether that’s through policy, education, or simply listening.
Warm regards,
Tanvi Kamat

Dear Delegates
It is an absolute honour to welcome you all to VIBGYOR MUN 15 as the Co-Chair of COP 30. My name is Krisha Vanjole, and I am thrilled to guide this committee as we delve into some of the most critical challenges facing our world today.
COP 30 represents a pivotal moment for global climate action, focusing on achieving net-zero emissions, advancing sustainable development, and ensuring climate justice for all. This committee will challenge us to think critically, collaborate effectively, and propose innovative solutions to tackle the complexities of environmental policies.
With experience in over 80 Model UN conferences, as the Founder of Evolve MUN, and as the Joint Secretary of the Rotaract Club, I have developed a strong passion for diplomacy, leadership, and driving change. My role as the Head of Public Relations for various NGOs has further strengthened my belief in the power of collaboration to create tangible impact.
As future leaders, we have the responsibility to translate ideas into action, and I look forward to witnessing your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment in this committee.
Let’s work together to make VIBGYOR MUN 15 a platform for meaningful dialogue and impactful solutions.
Wishing you all the very best for this exciting journey ahead!

Dear Delegates
It is an honour to welcome you as the Chair of the Lok Sabha. In this committee, we prepare to delve into the intricacies of lawmaking and debate the pressing issues that shape our nation.
I am currently pursuing a degree in law, a path I have chosen because of my belief in the power of ideas and the systems that bring them to life. The Lok Sabha represents the heart of Indian democracy, and every session reminds us that the laws we debate and draft are not just words on paper, but tools that can change lives. It is this blend of intellectual rigour and real-world impact that drew me to the study of law and continues to inspire me.
The Lok Sabha is distinct from most committees because it mirrors the responsibilities of elected representatives. You are not just debating policies, but advocating for constituencies, defending ideologies, negotiating alliances, and shaping the future of our nation. Every speech you make and every amendment you propose represents your portfolio and the millions of citizens your character symbolises. This isn’t just about winning points; it’s about understanding what leadership means in one of the most diverse and dynamic democracies in the world.
As the Chair, my role is to guide our discussions, ensure fairness, and maintain the decorum befitting this house. But beyond the rules of procedure, I hope to foster a space where every voice, regardless of its strength or perspective, is heard and respected.
I look forward to seeing how each one of you approaches this simulation and contributes to making it both impactful and unforgettable.
Let’s make this committee worthy of the Lok Sabha it represents.
Regards
Sukriti Mehta

Dear Delegates,
After having begun my MUN journey at this very institute in 2019, I, Eshwar R A, am incredibly honoured to be a part of VIBGYOR MUN 2025.
Over the past 6 years, I have been blessed to attend over 60 conferences, of which I have held an Executive Board position at a few prestigious conferences including IITHMUN, BITSHMUN, and IIScMUN. Barring these accolades, my experience primarily stems from the fact that I have extensively worked as part of the school and college ‘circuits.’
It taught me both about the humble perspective a first-timer would possess — with their keen interest to learn something new while they look forward to having a good time. Further, it has taught me not to leave unchecked the ultimate goal of any committee: a nuanced, solution-oriented debate from which we can all learn something.
As members of the Lok Sabha, my only request to all participants is as follows: look forward to an experience that could possibly leave you inspired and keen on attending more conferences ahead in your life — but in this process that shall sure be rigorous, do not forget to do what you came here for: have fun.
Apart from MUNs, I am an engineering student at PESU, Bengaluru, with a keen interest in food and Indian history. As your Chairperson, you may feel free to approach me at any time. Kindly remember that I will never judge you, and you must never hesitate.
Hoping to have a productive and fun few sessions with all of you ahead!
Warm regards,
Eshwar R A
Chair – Lok Sabha

Dear Delegates
I am Avishi Goel, and it is my privilege to serve as your chairperson for VIBGYOR MUN 15. As a proud VIBGYOR alumna, it feels truly special to return to VIBGYOR MUN, this time on the other side of the table.
Currently, I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at FLAME University, pursuing a major in Digital Marketing with a specialisation in International Studies. Although college life is demanding and keeps me on my toes, I always find time for my passions i.e. traveling and writing. A few fun facts about me: I am a published author; I have an inexplicable aversion to tomatoes and pretend to be allergic to avoid endless questions about it; and I share baking recipes online under a pseudonym.
Model United Nations has been a significant part of my journey, shaping my perspectives and honing my skills. I have had the privilege of learning from some exceptional Chairs, and I aspire to pass on the same guidance and inspiration to all of you.
Over the four days we will spend together, my goal is to create a stimulating, dynamic, and enjoyable experience for everyone. I look forward to an engaging and fruitful conference with each one of you.
Let’s make the Munich Security Conference at VIBGYOR MUN 2025 a truly memorable experience!

Dear Delegates,
I am Dhwaj Jain, and I am honoured to serve as your Vice-Chair for the Munich Security Conference at VIBGYOR MUN 15. As someone who has been on both sides of the committee table, as a delegate and an Executive Board member, I understand how transformative the MUN experience can be.
I am currently in my third year of pursuing a BSc degree in Data Science and Economics at FLAME University. As a proud VIBGYOR alumnus, it’s an honour to return as the Executive Board. Over the years, I have actively participated and chaired numerous Model United Nations conferences in the Pune & Nepal circuit, representing diverse nations and contributing to thought-provoking debates on pressing global issues.
As a delegate in the Munich Security Conference, you will step into the shoes of diplomats and policymakers, deciphering complex geopolitical landscapes and participating in high-stakes negotiations.
Through this simulation, we aim to capture the urgency and nuance of real-world security crises, while emphasising the need for a holistic debate in shaping global policy. Whether this is your first or tenth MUN, I hope this experience helps you grow as a speaker, thinker, and diplomat.
Looking forward to four days of debate, diplomacy, and unforgettable memories!
Warm regards,
Dhwaj Jain

Dear Delegates
It is my absolute honour to welcome you all to this edition of VIBGYOR MUN as the Chairperson of the United Nations Security Council. My name is Ishaan Ghosh, and I come from Bangalore, a city that has played a significant role in shaping my journey in the Model United Nations circuit. Over the past seven years, I have had the privilege of attending more than 40 MUNs across the country, both as a delegate and a chairperson.
These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for diplomacy and the importance of collaborative problem-solving. The Security Council, being one of the most dynamic and challenging committees, offers a unique platform to address some of the most pressing issues of global peace and security.
As your Chairperson, my goal is to create a balanced and engaging environment where every delegate feels confident and empowered to contribute meaningfully. I believe in fostering a collaborative committee atmosphere that is professional yet approachable—one where delegates are encouraged to express their ideas, learn from one another, and grow as individuals.
Outside the MUN circuit, I am deeply passionate about bikes, cars, and planes, which have taught me the importance of precision, strategy, and staying grounded while striving for excellence. I bring this same enthusiasm and open-mindedness to the committee, ensuring that both seasoned and first-time delegates feel equally comfortable participating.
I encourage you to delve deep into your research, understand your country’s stance thoroughly, and approach debates with an open mind. The UNSC is a space to challenge yourselves, test your diplomatic skills, and work towards practical solutions to some of the world’s most complex problems.
VIBGYOR MUN has always been close to my heart, and I am genuinely excited to witness the energy and intellect that this council will bring. I look forward to seeing each of you bring your perspectives to the table and collaborate to uphold the spirit of diplomacy and multilateralism.
Here’s to a conference filled with thought-provoking discussions, impactful resolutions, and a memorable experience for everyone involved. I can’t wait to meet all of you and begin this incredible journey together.

Dear Delegates
I am Shloak Gupta, and I will serve as the Co-Chairperson for the United Nations Security Council at VIBGYOR MUN 15.
I am a second-year International Relations major at FLAME University majoring and have been an active member of the MUN circuit for about eight years. With a near-perfect placement record, I have participated in over 35 conferences, including Harvard MUN India, BITSMUN Goa, BJCMUN, CUBSMUN, and BMSMUN, both as a delegate and an Executive Board (EB) member.
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) is responsible for maintaining international peace and security. Unlike other UN organs, it holds the authority to impose sanctions, authorise military action, and pass binding resolutions. Its five permanent members—China, France, Russia, the UK, and the US—hold veto power, making it uniquely influential. This is why our committee will be distinctive, as we address both contemporary and historical issues, tackling them from every possible angle.
I believe in using rational thinking to build and dismantle arguments. Every argument can be structured linearly, and identifying its different layers is a key to diplomacy and crafting well-structured arguments. Critical reasoning skills help identify flaws and fallacies, allowing you to structure your points more effectively and coherently.
Remember, this conference is meant to help you learn and grow—not only as a delegate but also as a person. While competition is inevitable and even encouraged when healthy, you must focus on learning, listening, actively participating, and, most importantly, having fun.
I look forward to seeing you soon and wish you the best of luck.
Regards
Shloak Gupta

Dear Delegates
It is with great honour and excitement that I welcome you all to the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) committee at VIBGYOR MUN 15. As your Chairperson, I look forward to collaborating with you and your visions to address the issues that grapple our world.
In this committee, we will delve into the complexities of global challenges that hinder the growth, safety, and development of children. Now more than ever, the call to protect and encourage stability within our most valuable resource—children—becomes crucial. Together, we will strive to craft innovative, actionable, and sustainable solutions that uphold the principles of equity and inclusion.
What I ask of you is simple: I urge you to approach each session with empathy, open-mindedness, and a commitment to collaboration. Respect for diverse perspectives is the cornerstone of meaningful dialogue, and I encourage you to listen as much as you speak. Your role as a delegate is not merely to represent your assigned country’s stance but also to understand the broader humanitarian implications of our discussions.
In this committee, diplomacy and teamwork will be your greatest assets. Whether you are a seasoned MUN participant or entering this world for the first time, know that your voice matters. Each idea, question, and resolution has the potential to make a profound impact on the discourse and outcomes of our committee.
I am here to support and guide you throughout this conference. If you have any questions, concerns, or need clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out. I can’t wait to witness your passion, creativity, and dedication as we tackle these critical issues.
Happy MUNing!
Regards

Dear Delegates
Chaos. Turmoil. Conflict.
We’ve opened the doors for you, doors to a world of debate, research, and intense negotiation in pursuit of a better world, a world where needless suffering is a thing of the past, and harmony and peace prevail. However, it is crucial to recognise that this opportunity depends upon the effort you invest. The magnitude of change is directly proportional to the dedication and passion with which you approach the challenge before you.
In the words of Ludwig Van Beethoven, "To play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable." It is not your experience that matters, but the passion with which you approach this arena of debate. Fear is constant. To face that fear and come out on top is what truly separates the extraordinary from the ordinary.
It is my hope that the United Nations Children's Fund committee at VIBGYOR MUN 2025 ignites within you the same passion for pushing forth global progress and debate that my first MUN, VIBGYOR MUN 2020, did in me. This world needs change—and I have faith that you will be the one to spearhead that change.
This is but the first step for you on the path to infinity.
Research. Debate. Push your limits.
Then go out there and change the world.
Regards
Harihar Prasad
